Terms of use

Play fair, keep it friendly, and remember it is a game: no real money is involved.

Using the game

Backgammon Lounge is free to play. You may use it for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Play fair: do not cheat, use bots or programs to play online games for you, exploit bugs, harass other players, or try to disrupt or break into the service.

Player names and accounts

Pick a player name that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. We may rename, suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

No money play

Backgammon Lounge is a game of skill and chance played for fun. Points, ratings and cube values have no monetary value, and the game may not be used for gambling.

The iPhone app

The iPhone app is licensed under Apple's standard end user license agreement, together with these terms. Purchases are processed by Apple.

The service

We work to keep the game and the online server running but provide them "as is", without warranties, and may change or stop features at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the game.

Privacy

See the privacy policy for what we collect.

Changes

We may update these terms; continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
